For those of you who purchase books from non-amazon retailers like ARe, B&N and Itunes, I wanted to provide an update on the availability of my books on these sites.
For those of you who don't know, when a book is enrolled in Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program, the author has to agree to keep the book enrolled for 90 days at a time and to not sell the book on any other retail sites during that time frame (there are some established authors who Amazon makes an exception for but alas, I am not one of them). As a new author, I make a significant amount of my income from being a part of this program so whenever I release a book, I enroll it in the program. However, I do realize that I have some fans who get their books from sites besides Amazon so I publish the books to these sites after the first 90 days ends. I usually leave them on these sites for a couple of weeks at a time to let fans purchase them before I delist them and put them back in the KU program for another 90 days. I have added a page to my website showing the potential schedule of when books will be listed and removed from these sites. As always, feel free to email me at sloane@sloanekennedy.com with questions! Thanks for your support. Sloane
